Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

fatal error: arduino.h: No such file or directory

VS2017/19 
after updating to VM 2023.731.1902
While compiling any project got such error.
Arduino IDE compilation OK.
Log attached.

Thanks for the report.

Can you also enable the vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties option and re-send the logs?

Can you try updating to the beta version below and see if this helps to resolve the issue?

Not now. Above results were on my office PC.
I'm afraid to do it at my home PC.

Beta is was the wrong word. It is the latest release about to be published

Hi just to let you all know, had the same "Arduino.h" issue, just installed latest vMicro "Visual.Micro.Arduino.Studio_2023_0731_2203.vsix", problem solved, tks
