Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

  • Fix: Compiler: Change to char limit (32767 to 31000) to trigger path shortening (all cases) and double backslash replacement (ESP32 Only).
  • Update: Exposure of whether the project is a Linux Project (vm.settings.IsLinuxProject)
  • Update: Addition of Tip at end of Build Output to upgrade the project if it isn't already
  • Hardware Debugging: (gdbscript only) Addition of Logging for GDB Level of commands to Build Folder.
  • Hardware Debugging: (gdbscript only) Inversion of OpenOCD Logging so it produces logs unless specified not to
  • Fix: Increase Timeout for compiler commands to run to 5m to reduce issues on slow/busy systems (Reported Here)
