Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

"Peek definition" and etc, missing?

Afternoon all

Noticed last night that "Peek definition", "Go to definition", "Find all references" etc are grayed out and can no longer be selected. Have ensured some object is highlighted, but nothing, no deal.

Can anyone suggest what's wrong here please? I noticed an update to VS Micro this morning so I did that, but still the same issue.

Visual Studio 17.8.5 (upgraded this morning, same)
Version 2024.102.2203
Writing code for Teensy, same behaviour in .ino, .h and .cpp files.

And of course, no sooner having posted this and scratched my head a bit more.. I found had changed the Intellisense folder location to \temp\intellisense\vs2022. That vs2022 folder had been removed. Yeah, great choice of location, go me.

Recreated it, back in business. Will leave this one here in case it catches anyone else out.
