Intellisense seems to have stopped since update as arduino.h cant be found

Hi All,

Since a recent update to my PC, Visual Studio shows multiple intellisense errors, such as:

identifier "X" is undefined

Which happens throughout the sketch. It has occurred to me, it is anything related to Arduino, such as byte, serial, etc.

Any clues as I cant find the issue!

Thanks.

Thanks for the report.

Could you update to the latest version of vMicro (2024.0607.1) from the below page, which should improve the intellisense issues for the ESP32 v3.0.1 core in use:

Hi Simon,

Thank you, that solved it straight away but is there any reason why the compile time seems to be very long, even when I recompile straight away?

Regards,

Christopher
