Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

  • Fix: Intellisense: Ensure INO/PDE Files are associated with C++ Language Engine correctly in VS2026 (Reported Here)
  • Fix: Compile/Export Binary: Ensure build.options.json is exported to build folder ensuring ESP32 3.5.5+ Hooks work correctly and maintains future compatability with Arduino IDE. (Reported Here)
  • Fix: Export Binary: Arduino2x: Ensure Updated SketchFolder\build\<vendor>.<arch>.<board> is used for assets as in Arduino2, unless overridden with Project Property > Intermediate Directory. Arduino 1.x IDE Behaivour is unchanged (Reported Here)
  • Fix: Teensy Library Detection via Deep Search: Now inlcudes AVR architecture to ensure correct matching of core Libraries over Sketchbook Libraries where applicable e.g. SD (Reported Here)
