	Thanks for the report, and we are working on fixes to the potential causes of this. The releases board is only to show the latest releases and only admins can post there. Would you be able to run Visual Studio with the /Log parameter (this can be changed on the Taskbar shortcut properties), and then when it crashes next there will be a file generated we can inspect. This will be saved to %APPDATA%/Roaming/Microsoft/, under a folder starting 17.0_ when it happens in a file called ActivityLog.xml If you find there are any actions you perform which make it crash more often please also let us know, though know this may not be the case.

Simone, Thanks for all the help (and my apologies for misspelling your name ). Reverting to the older version is much more dependable now. As a professional real-time software developer back in the day, Just want to say it takes a lot of courage to admit that the current path is not working, retreat, and live to code another day.
