I was using copilot github chat and on one action Vs crashed and  the toolbare and projecttemplates are gone. Vmicro doesn't launch anymore.

In the extension manager it seems to be not installed and when trying to install Vmicro, it says that it is installed. What to do next?

Steps to reproduce
---------------------
Add a library
remove the library
Add a module
first use copilot github
mark code a use copilot chat
the add the library again

Seems to be a very unstable version when it comes to the ESP32 and Arduino 2.0 IDE with serial monitor, libraries, intelisense and the compiler.

I will do it in steps.

1st build using a esp32-arduino core lib

Result: No building errors

Seems that the network library is missing under
vm toolbar; Add library; current platform

https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/tree/master/libraries

Also the Build in drop down list is empty.

Using an external library in the shetch.ino was no problem. I used copilot, no issue so far.

Missing library files

Github copilot still working properly. It also tells me that

WiFiGeneric.h and NetworkEvents.h can not be found.

If we look at WiFiGeneric.h it's location is libraries/WiFi/src
We see that WiFi.h is found and WiFiGeneric.h not, still they are under the same folder. I know the library very wel and I know that is written in C and called in WiFi.h. PS: option deepsearch for labrary was on.

https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/tree/master/libraries/WiFi/src

WiFiGeneric.h is and has been allways been there. For NetworkEvents.h I am not sure, but doesn't matter anymore, because I know now there is an other issue then selecting the arduino IDE 1.8 version in stead of 2.0.

And that's why my code thinks it is inherted to
void onEvent(arduino_usb_cdc_event_t event, esp_event_handler_t callback); instead of using the class of the WiFiGeneric.h
void WiFiGenericClass::_eventCallback(arduino_event_t *event) {

When I make a static void declaration of the event the program is build without errors

What I do know is that wifi.h has to be reinserted with the vmicro toolbar as a non shared project. After that it worked fine.
