Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Build fails with Energia and latest VM version

The latest build of Visual Micro (1.1505.19) no longer builds Energia sketches-- there are quite a few compiler errors that the Energia IDE doesn't have. 

I've attached a build log with verbose messages turned on. I'm using Visual Studio Professional 2013 on Windows 7 x64. I've tested the build with Energia 14 & 15 and both fail.

Any input on why the build is failing would be greatly appreciated, but it looks like I'll be downgrading in the mean time.

Hi,

Thanks for the post. There was a new build property was missing in the Visual Micro Energia config. Please install the latest release which is 1505.19 sp1
