Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post

Since a few days I get the error message 

arm-none-eabi-g++*: fatal error: cannot execute cc1plus: CreateProcess: No such file or directory

Please tell me how to fix this.

Thanks for the report.

Did you upgrade the STMicroElectronics board package recently to 2.8.1?

Does the "arm-none-eabi-g++.exe" exist in the folder shown in the last command?

Yes, I upgraded to 2.8.1

Do you mean the directory

Thanks for the update.

It seems as though the "cc1plus.exe" is missing from a different folder in the toolchain.

Can you try following the instructions on the below page to reinstall the board package from a fresh download:

Sounds good. 

Can you confirm if you mean "now is works" or "not it works". "Not" means it is still a problem.
