Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Cant compile with lastest realease

After the last update, it won’t compile anymore.

I have tried uninstall and reinstall, change the IDEs selection, reselect board without success.

I have tried to downgrade the version, but it cant be reinstalled.

How can I can downgrade the version, so I can continue compiling while this issue is solved ?

Thanks for the report, we are investigating this and will remove the release from the forum.

Are you seeing an error when opening the project in the output window "Build Validation Failed for Sketch xxx"?

Could you attach or email us your VCXPROJ file from this project?

To rollback you will need to Uninstall Visual Micro: 
https://www.visualmicro.com/page/Uninstalling-Visual-Micro.aspx

Then download the previous release from our Downloads Page, and install that using the Visual Studio Version Selector (noted at the bottom of the Downloads Page):
https://www.visualmicro.com/page/Arduino-Visual-Studio-Downloads.aspx

If you have any issues downgrading let us know which version is currently shown in Extensions > Manage Extensions > Installed for Visual Micro.
