Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Hi,

i've last realese of visual micro with license, i try to use ota because our board is so difficult use upload with serial, better is use ota.

Arduino ide worked, but i try to set ip but i can't set manually network port, i've found your procedure but board.txt is not read and come network.port integer fail 

Can you say to me a better way?  many  thanks

Hi,

1)
When you change information in board.txt you must click Save. visual studio auto saves the .txt after the build so it is too late. If you click upload again it might work.

2)

Please show what you have put in board.txt

i've created board.txt, because there are only board.buildinfo

At now i've installated bonjour and it's works after complete reboot. But manual mode not working, please if possibile add a specific section for ota config , passsword, port address. .. etc

I think you were just a bit confused about things.

There is a vmicro menu item called Add Code>Board.txt and also a tool bar button of same name. This shows you how to add a .txt file called board.txt to the project.

Your last screen image shows a build folder and does not show the project folder.
